Or maybe just for potheads' and common sense's sake. Even MSN is taking up the argument. Of course they mostly discuss the possible economic effects of legalizing. To cut to the chase, an estimated 6 billion in tax revenue and another 8 billion in savings from not having to fight a the losing war. And these are the conservative estimates, others claim that the Gov. could make almost 42 billion. Pretty good money that would be pretty much free and painlessly gathered.

But wait, the anti-drug movement fights back with such strong arguments as this from Calvina Fay, the executive director of the Drug Free America Foundation (or as I like to call it, DFAF):

"[Others]fail to account for marijuana's adverse side effects, from lethargy to impaired driving to tendencies among weed smokers to try more-serious drugs. Those who are using drugs are less productive than those who aren't," Fay said.

Oh snap. Guess that ends the argument... Except... Hey, isn't alcohol legal? And isn't alcohol worse in all those ways than Mary Jane? Hmmm, oh never mind. I'm preaching to the choir anyway.

2 sucka ass fools had something to say:

Good point. Time to reinstate prohibition--the government should make tons of money in payoffs, bribes, and kickbacks.
