The tale of the trysts and travails of post-9/11 New York firefighters. Dennis Leary's "asshole" character drinks and fucks his way through his haunting emotional problems--with a stellar supporting troupe in his 62 Truck fire crew, who never fail to provide low antics and high comedy. While the show's overarching storylines are often very tragic (addiction, adultery, suicide, kidnapping, arson, masochism), the minute-to-minute scripting is supremely hilarious.
I highly recommend you queue this series.
